Jeremiah 6:16 "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good is and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls."

Valley Presbyterian Church has some of the greatest families in Connecticut! From young to old, you will always find warm smiles and gentle hands to shake. It is our sincere hope that those who walk through the doors of Valley can enter seeking God's direction, find fellowship with others who walk in His ways, and ultimately find rest for their souls.

I John 3:18 "Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth."

Max and the entire congregation is ecstatic to see this new baby grand piano in Valley's santuary! It will bless us with years of beautiful music and make many memories with our members.

Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God....."

We are so thankful to have a santuary that allows us to enjoy the beauty of God's creation through its natural lighting and incredible view of the woods.  It is easy to feel a sense of comforting peace in its openness and natural beauty.

Coffee anyone?

Fellowship is key to any healthy community.  Each week the service is followed by light refreshments and coffee allowing us time together to enjoy our family. All Christian churches must be built with a strong foundation, but blessed churches have members with a strong work ethic and a love for giving of themselves! Our church is a blessed church indeed.

Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

This is one of many intricate banners that are on display in our santuary. It was created for Valley by our own Millie Foster in 2005. It incorporates Fall images, some symbolism of our Scottish heritage, and Christian symbols.

Another example of the talented gifts that are a part of our congregation. This red banner was made by former member Sandi Steffen and others in the early days of Valley's congregational life.  The banner was brought to the General Assembly in 1982 when Valley was incorporated as a church.  The banner can also be seen in the picture on the stairwell heading to Sunday school; it was carried from middle school to the church when our building was completed in 1988.
